The following classes will be offered over two Wednesdays (April 10 & 17) from 6:30-8:00pm. Both of these are 2-part classes that will happen simultaneously, so you are only able to sign up for one.
Marriage: Fixer Upper (Pastor Dave S.)
Every house needs work. No matter the type of house, it will require diligence and intentionality to not only maintain the house, but help it flourish. Marriages function in the same way. In our time together, we’ll be taking that analogy and applying it to marriage. We’ll be encouraged in how the gospel must be central to a God-glorifying marriage, and Jesus must be the cornerstone. So no matter the status of your marriage, whether you’re preparing to get married, struggling, ‘doing ok’, or thriving, we hope our time together will be strengthening and helpful for your relationship.
Why Jesus and Not _____?: Examining The Claim That Jesus Is THE Way (Pastor Kent)
What is it about Jesus that convinces you to follow His teachings instead of the teachings of other religions? Do you have doubts if what you believe is actually true or not? Do you feel as if you are blindly following Jesus because that's how you were taught and the only way you know? In this class we will explore the major world religions (origins, teachings, and practices). We will also examine proof to see if the claim that Jesus is the only way is able to be proven or not. All are welcome to this class, whether experienced in apologetics or just curious to learn more. This will be a time of strengthening our faith and trust in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
All are welcome!
